Meta-Weaponised Fiction - ClandesTime 028

Tom Secker describes it thusly: "This week I take a look at four films that incorporate notions of weaponised fiction into their dialogue and storylines. The concepts of predictive programming and the copycat effect, as well as other similar techniques, are identified in four movies from the 1990s -- two mystery thrillers (The Usual Suspects and Basic Instinct), a satirical drama (Six Degrees of Separation) and a sci-fi horror (The Faculty). I look at each of these films, highlighting these elements and explaining some of the real background stories than inspired these works. I round off by talking about the future of this podcast."
