The answer is this simple: they didn't care until it directly AND IMMEDIATELY affect them and what they care about.
This is a well-known thing, especially in Public Relations, and that means that the Thralls of Empire know it too. So do a lot of dissidents, as acknowledged by the term "mask off"; everyone that knows this also knows that you do not make pushes like this unless and until you believe your position to be secure against counter-attack.
Respectively:
Most of them neither suffered from the Floyd Riots nor know anyone that did.
Most of them either do not comprehend how elections work, do not care how they work, or were in a place where the results did not matter.
Corona-chan's world tour did not bother them, for one reason or another, and it was out of their control anyway.
But purchasing product is entirely within their control, and Bud Light is a well-known brand that a lot of them do (or did) drink. This directly AND IMMEDIATELY affected them.
That's all there is to it. The consequences were too distant, or too impotent, relative to themselves to get them mad enough to act until Bud Light stepped in it. This is also why there wasn't much pushback until the troons came for their children, as we see now with the Target pushback.
What BPS also ignores is the pushback GOT RESULTS. No, not the full results that would actually put a permanent stop to it, but the results that made the immediate pain (and disgust) stop. Lest we forget, there's already Thralls whining about both Bud Light and Target backing down from this push.
Target doesn't have a fortress balance sheet, a diversified portfolio of brands, or a large international business insensitive to the dynamics of a boycott.

The Thralls have a playbook about this. We're seeing them begin to deploy the second stage--the first being to find the boundary by pushing until they get pushback--and now out comes the shaming and gaslighting to frame the pushback as low-status social behavior, backed up now by state power in places where the Thralls hold such positions and by financial fuckery where it does not.
If they are successful, they will mute this pushback and use that reaction against their enemies to further push them into submission or destruction. I don't think that they will, and that's because more Normies are having encounters like this.

The troons--as promised--are coming for their children. Normies will not tolerate this. You will see the troons, over time, gain only where they currently possess the patronage of the Thralls; where they do not, expect them to be run out with increasing intesity.
This is a painful lessons for dissidents to hear, but they need to hear just as they need to see it: you can't get through to Normies until they are directly and immediately threatened or harmed by the Enemy.
I've accumulated a regular list of China Watcher channels over the last year or so. Here's my regular rotation:
The China Show: This is the creation of the ADV China duo, and they stream live on Fridays at 4pm Central Time. Clips from these streams go up on a separate channel, China Fact Chasers, and both men put up topic videos on their own channels (SerpentZA, laowhy86). The ADV China channel (which is archival footage from their years in the Mainland) is still up.
These two men speak Mandarin fluently, are married to (and have children with) Mainlander women, and combined have 30 years of first-hand experience with China and how it really works. That's why they are so effective at countering CCP propaganda, especially the stuff put out by CCP Shills, and they show recepits (in video form, hence why ADV China is a big deal; that's the recepit pile). Aside from that, they are shitlibs and never apply any of the skepticism to anything Western, which comes out now and again in their live shows; so long as you see them in their lane, you can rely on getting good info.
Lei's Real Talk: Lei is an expat Mainlander that defected to the West. Mandarin is her first language, and she too knows how China actually works. Her perspective allows her to break down how the CCP operates in terms common Westerners can understand, and she is also good about showing recepits. She streams a few times a week and does stand-alone videos on the same channel. Always a pleasant and informative time with her. She's also a liberal, but she also rarely slips out of her lane so you rarely notice it.
China Update: A business-focused channel by a Westerner expat in Shanghai that is not afraid to tell it like it is. He walks a knife-edge because he is monitored, but he also shows recepits in his reports and that shields him from most dangers from the CCP; because he sticks to what officials says in public, and cites available data, to a foreign audience (i.e. not Mainlanders in China) he skirts the "starting quarrels/spreading rumors" statute just enough to avoid getting pinched.
China Observer/China Insights: Channels that show video that covers the same topics that the other do, but also shows locals talking about it (with subtitles). This is a supplement to the three above, good to show by example things talked about such as how horrible Chinese construction is ("Tofu-dreg") or how terrible the economy is.
China Uncensored: This is a biased pro-Western channel, no doubt about it, but nothing shown here is contracted by the insider channels above. Not that they give the US any slack; they have a US-centric sister channel all about that. They are pro-Taiwan and pro-Falun Gong, and being more sensationalist the recepits are lacking; they make up for it with interviews with people the other channels would or could not get.
This means that I avoid CCP media as much as I avoid Globohomo. Just as I shun CNN, the BBC (and its Commonwealth counterparts), ABC/NBC/CBS (and their sister networks) so do I shun CGTN and other CCP outlets. I also avoid "independent" pro-CCP channels like iChongging; they're CCP Shills, some of whom (like i-boy) are paid agents of a hostile foreign powers. The China Show is at its best when it hammers this beat and exposes them.
These White Monkeys (as they're known) sucker well-intended dissidents into becoming assets of the CCP Shillsphere by conning them into buying into the CCP line. This is where I put The Duran, for example, and even Gonzolo Lira. I put Brian Bertilec and The New Atlas into the agent camp, because it's through him that those two got sucked in. (Lira sure ain't getting paid by either Beijing or Moscow; have you see his arrest photo?)
(Yes, Moscow plays this game also, but the CCP is better at it by far. Yes, I'm starting to collect Russia Watcher outlets; no I don't have a list to share yet.)
What Western dissidents need to realize is that all three Imperial powers play the Narrative Warfare game. Globohomo is the master, for certain, but dissidents need to see that Russia and China are no better.
The utility to grasp is this: all three powers lie about themselves and tell the truth about their enemies. That's the sickening thing about it all; when someone at the State Department talks about the Uigher Genocide, they're don't need to exaggerate. Both Russia and the CCP is getting better at hitting back with airing Globohomo laundry in response- but they fail to grok what actually does damage and what does not because their institutional Theory of Mind is dogshit (they do not, contrary to claims, understand the West), which is why their attacks hit like wet noodles so often.
This is also why dissidents need to build their own media outlets and networks. All of the established ones are held by rival Thralls of Empire competing for his favor.
There are three imperial powers, each with their own spheres: Globohomo, Russia, China.
Each sphere pursues imperial hegemony, despite all Rhetoric to the contrary, as shown by their deeds. To this end, each power maintains their own Narrative Warfare capacity, starting with state propaganda and media control and filtering all the way down to (defacto and de jure) political commissars and the use of banking access to reward and punish.
Unlike Orwell's classic work, the three powers are not equal in power. This past year has exposed how weak the would-be rivals to Globohomo, each of which seeks to displace it, are against it.
The Neo-Tsar Isn't Long For This World
Like it or not, Russia's performance in Ukraine exposed just how bad it really is. Like it or not, Russia also didn't have a choice not to do this either.
Zeihan--hardly a pro-Russian shill; he's ex-Stratfor, so he's pro-Globohomo--has consistently stated that due to geography alone the Russian state has always been imperial in its nature and thus has always pursued expansion until it hits and secures natural barriers (mountains, inland seas, ocean coastlines, etc.) that it can shore up after which it pursues an Artichoke Strategy (harden the borders as best as can be done to buy time until reinforcements from the interior can arrive).
The problem is that the Russia Establishment has always been given to despotic and decadent regimes ruling over impoverished peasants, even with the influence of Christianity. The Soviet Union, as with the CCP, was nothing more than another Imperial Dynasty- and Putin is now Tsar in all but name.
I am surprised that Zeihan is as even-handed as he's been about this, given his allegience.
The reality is that Russia should have delivered on their earlier boast, and they should have won by now, but they have not. Globohomo, sensing that their own plan to bring Russia back under its sway--which was the case in the 1990s--are as all-in on Ukraine as Russia is, because they have a clear plan of post-war action for Russia and this past week made it clear that Globohomo's going to get its way.

That's a guy that does the work (in the deniable manner Globohomo prefers) that state actors then implement as policy.

Second, the grand display of Russian military prowess (that wasn't). Note: This is the NAFO crowd clowning on it, so they're going to be cruel- and they hate Gonzolo Lira.
I've seen better parades at home, and major professional sporting events have bigger displays. Jesus wept, that was pathetic. This was Russia's big world-class display of might and they didn't manage better than some of the famous parades under Stalin.
I agree with Zeihan: this is still Russia's war to lose. I also think that we ought to be looking at the scenario where Globohomo succeeds in bleeding Russia white (at the cost of bleeding Ukraine white, which is fine with Globohomo); their losses of men and material, while not atypical, are still far too much to afford given the already terminal decline of the Russian nation in demographic terms.
This is weakening Putin and his allies so much that regime collapse can't be avoided- and with that collapse, which will include the onrushing financial one (because, like it or not, the sanctions are working) Globohomo will rush back in to fill the power vaccum and (re)install their own puppets and all the faggotry we see in the West will be forced on them as Globohomo dismembers the Russian state into several smaller (and far, far weaker) states controlled via their finacial vulnerability.
Expect to see Vladimir Putin desposed and dead by 2030 at the latest.
Pooh Bear Knows He's In Trouble
This has Xi Jinping worried, and his own behavior reveals it.
The Chinese Communist Party just recently had its own internal faction fight concluded by Xi Jinping's faction taking out both of his rivals. Xi needed this unity of power to deal with the existential threats to the Party, and thus to himself, that are not merely on the horizon but rather are on-rushing like a tsunami.
Like Russia, China's demographics are terminal. (Both states make all of the West look like the picture of fertility by comparison.)
Like Russia, China's economy is export-focused and thus plugged into the global trade system; like Russia, this benefited a few and left the majority behind. Like Russia, the CCP did what it could to bullshit the world to believing otherwise. Unlike Russia, the CCP succeeded.
All of China's propaganda builds on a core tenant maintaining the appearance or seeming of meeting expectations over all else. This is the tell of the CCP Shillsphere; when you see someone hyping both Russia and China, they may talk shit about Russia but never about China- that's a CCP Shill. Globohomo, on the other hand, has learned how to hold containment on (and to use for its own ends) dissonence and dissent.
The reality is that the CCP's line about GDP and power projection is complete bullshit. Zeihan has maintained his position that China lacks the means to invade Taiwan, but may do so to solve internal conflict issues such as a collapsing economy- and that is the primary existential threat Xi Jinping sees as most important to deal with.
The problem is that his solutions are "Return To Mao", and that's a non-solution because it won't solve his demographic problem- and it is that which threatens the CCP and thus him foremost.
The truth is now slipping out into the Western media, filtering through specialist and independent channels; soon it will be mainstream, at which point Globohomo will have to exploit it or lose the opportunity to finish the job it began decades ago with Nixon.
Xi Jinping either launches a war on Taiwan by 2025 at the latest, or he follows Vladimir Putin into being deposed by about 2030 and with it the CCP either goes or becomes a skinsuit for whatever Globohomo installs to fill the power vaccum.
But How Can You Say That?
It clicked into place when I read Imperium Press's Substack article about how Globohomo is going to obliterate Africa ("The Third World's Going To Cop It") and the precursor that explains the basis for the latter ("The Mithriades Strategy").
Summarized, it is this: Globohomo wins because its elite has built up a strong tolerance to the poz it pushes on its enemies, both internal--that us, dissidents--and external (Russia and China). The Russian and Chinese elites recognize the threat; the tell is in the laws against degeneracy that they enforce, and the severity of the punishments.
The other element, which the two aforementioned imperial rivals recognize, is how Globohomo spreads its influence: through media, cultural manipulation, then followed up by financial dependence (as if intentially hooking girls on heroin to turn them into your whores) and installing Thralls of Empire to run the new imperial province.
This is a degree of evil that few even recognize as such, and neither Russia nor China have the cultural capital required to fight off the Globohomo infection. We are watching someone bitten by zombies slowly turn into one in real time despite their best efforts to stop it because of their own blindspots cutting them off from employing the means that actually work.
(Note: You Western dissidents are just as bad about this, just in different ways.)
In any event, if there is no major war by 2025 then there will be no major war at all this century- not by state actors. The only war possibility thereafter shall be one of insurgency against a victorious global imperial hegemon.
So How Do We Handle It?
Predators starve when they can't find prey.
Don't be where they are, and support the holdouts as best you can. The problem of Empire is the problem of the undead: what happens when the vampire can't get to the blood it needs to feed? It starves, it withers, and so weakened it can be speared and dragged into the sun to burn to ash.
You're not going to do than with just the power of friendship and a well-maintained rifle. You need a collective of some sort, and you need a superior religion.
For we in the West, this is Christian Nationalism. Empire is of the Enemy.

Gonzolo Lira's Second Arrest

I agree with BPS and his co-host that Gonzolo (aka Coach Red Pill) not leaving the country when he had the chance--as his family did--was a serious mistake. He should have left after his first arrest, even if that meant insisting on his deportation; it may yet come down to that, but this is not a year ago when the Ukraine War started. Now all three imperial powers saturate the media with propaganda, and Gonzolo did get sucked into the CCP Shillsphere by way of The Duran (who, in turn, got sucked in via George Galloway and The New Atlas).
In short, the Narrative is that Gonzolo is a Russian propagandist working against the Zelensky regime in Kiev during wartime, and I doubt that anyone that could get him out will bother to do so. He faces prison (which will not go well for him) if not execution as a spy.
UPDATE: He has plead guilty, and looks at six years in prison.
You can call Gonzolo a sketchy man with an unclean past. That would not be wrong.
You can call him a foolish man for not taking the hint and leaving as soon as possible, legal or not, because as a father and husband he has duties that supersede his career ambitions- neither of which are served by this second arrest.
What you cannot say, and be a good faith actor, is that he did not bring a perspective that Globohomo does its best to either kill off or choke off access to. He is not in the least a man with clean hands, and his tendency towards dissident politics is likewise unclean, but for the purpose of illustrating a point I want you to look at him as what awaits other dissidents that share his delusion of being either too unimportant to bother with (not when you get on George Galloway's show) or too high-profile to be touchable.
You dissidents out there whose hands are clean, who do possess integrity in your actions and operations, need to comprehend that what befell Gonzolo is on the table for you as well. So far as the imperial regime is concerned, you're just a different shade of the same problem and therefore you face the same repercussions should either they have the time to ties off loose ends (which is what the unimportant are) or you become too much of a bother to ignore any further (which is what Gonzolo became).
Take note that an American Troon, who had previously been humiliated by Gonzolo, was the point man for this takedown as well as its spread into Globohomo imperial media. He, fo r all intents and purposes, is a (disposable) three-letter asset and might as well speak for Langley.
Gonzolo's situation is one that could have been avoided in its entirety had he not become so prideful as to not recognize danger when it came his way and prepare accordingly; had he the wisdom that his age should have imparted to him, he could be talking all the mad shit he wanted about Ukraine and Zelensky from a safe location outside of Ukraine and enjoying both his revived career and his family life.
But no, now we shall see his ritual humiliation and in short order his obiturary- absent any divine intervention.
Which leads me to the next story.
Martin Seller's Prosecution

Before I go further, an update from his English-language Telegram channel:
A very pleasant surprise: in a clear decision the judge acquitted me of all charges. In three days we know if the prosecutor will appeal.
Unlike Gonzolo Lira, Martin's reputation is as clean as it gets. He is, at worst, someone you can accuse of being too naive and foolish.
Like Gonzolo, Martin lives in a Globohomo imperial province and thus suffers under the Gnostic cult religion that masquerades as a liberal democractic state. He criticized a protected class, so protected to provide easy excuses for said regime to punish its enemies under the color of law.
Because Martin is a man whose hands are clean, it is harder to nail him to the wall deniably. It can still happen, and the odds of that being done despite the damage to the prevailing Narrative goes up as he and his party become more effective.
Like Gonzolo, Martin is a husband and father; he is fortunate in that his wife Brittany is behind him. However, Brittany is an American citizen and they have an infant son; this is the attack surface that the Austrian state has at their disposal: the breakup of the household and family. This run-in with the state will not be the last time; the threat of the state seizing their son from them, and of deporting Brittany back to the United States (and the threat of a lasting or permanent reentry ban, which could go to all of the EU; don't think Rule of Law exists in Globohomo).
That threat has to be in the back of their minds, and therefore in the minds of Martin's supporters. Similarly, Martin and Brittany ought to be aware of the threat that their access to banking could be severed by the state.
Many are cowed when they realize that this could be done to them. So far Martin and Brittany show more courage than that, but it is apparent to observers that because such a threat exists the wise dissident has to prepare for it and pre-emptively defend against it by making their own and their organization's operations anti-fragile.
When I came up with my proposal, it was with Martin and Brittany in mind. They--along with Henrink and Lana of Red Ice Creations--are the folks I think Globohomo hates most out of all the dissidents.
The Proposal Revisited
I am one man. I am able to go anywhere, if I have the means; my fetters, such as they are, suit me well to working out of an office these days.
I will not be leading marches, or armies. What I can do is take a business model that I know to work and apply it to an unserved niche that desperately needs it. That business model is Offshoring & Internationalizing Your Business, as I see promoted online to millionaires and billionaires; this is a White Glove business model, where a client hires the agent to take the required documentation and smooth out the administrative processes after a consultation.
I am prepared to go into exile, relocating to Dubai, United Arab Emirates; this is a liminal space between the imperial powers, so it is out of reach of ALL of them. There I will establish the home office and base my operations; I will need one home for myself and at least one more for clients to use- this is not cheap, as a review of available residential real estate will reveal. Most of the startup costs go here.
The business will focus on assisting dissident groups with internationalizing their business operations, removing the threat of financial fuckery from the table. This will also allow clients to providing their supporters and members residency permits in the UAE, where they can also relocate their core banking accounts.
Once this core service is locked down, I will expand into consultation on residency and citizenship programs for clients; the Globohomo regime's next move is to do to you what Ukraine did to Gonzolo and seize your passports, but if you have more than one (and you keep your mouths shut about those you pick up) you will be able to travel about despite that- especially if you are already abroad.
From there I want to expand offices to Panama, Paraguay, or Uruguay first (to serve dissidents in the Americas) followed by Singapore (for Asia) in this order because Singapore is very difficult to get into and yet worth it because that place is a master on the Family Office service model- something readily applicable to dissident groups that manage to grow into significant assets.
I will move into consultation on where and how to set up secure exile colonies, so clients can be assured of being able to send their members and supporters someplace safe that is ready to take them in, and the big addition I want is to set up emergency private transit; call me, I tell you where to go, and you're on a plane within 12-24 hours to one of the prepared destination.
It is long overdue for dissidents to play by the rules of the game as they are. You just need someone to teach them to you. I can be that guy.
If the dissident groups in the West--especially in Europe--are willing to give me a shot, and come up with enough funding to get this started by the end of June, I can have clients coming into Dubai by December.
I estimate that the total startup cost--again, over 80% of which is real estate--to be $2-5 million US Dollars.
If that can't be done, then we go for Panama; I can swing that for about half the quoted cost, but ongoing costs are greater (not as good a tax regime) and the bureucracies are slower- not quite a year, but more than six months. Either way, this is not something I can do from within Globohomo (or Russia's sphere, or China's); it has to be a liminal space in geopolitical terms.
