Freedentity: Life in the Transnational Republic (from BoilingFrogsPost)

This is James Corbett's latest report for Boiling Frogs Post's Eyeopener Report. The video below is an abbreviated sample of the full report, which is behind the paywall for at least three weeks. (If you want to see it sooner than that, buy a subscription or wait for someone who has one to download the full report and re-upload it somewhere.)

Description: Our identities are increasingly taking the form of 'things' separate from ourselves: passports, IP addresses, customer loyalty cards. As long as we continue to allow outside entities to control, define and distribute these tokens of identity, we yield to outside agents the power over our personhood itself. Join us this week on the BoilingFrogsPost.com Eyeopener report as we explore the concept of "freedentity" and look at how activists are using innovative methods to undermine corporate and political attempts to control our identity.

There Is No Such Thing As "Crony Capitalism"

Anarcho-Capitalists and their Libertarian counterparts push, as an axiom of their paradigm, that there is such a thing as "pure capitalism" and therefore the "crony capitalism" we see all over the world today--this increasingly globalized corporatist prison planet--is an aberration that must be destroyed so the purity of true capitalism can be witnessed for all and sundry.

As my cousins across the pond would say, "BOLLOCKS!"

Peter Joseph said it best when he clashed with Stefan Molyneux: The Anarcho-Capitalist/Libertarian "Free Market" set are willfully blind to differential advantage, and therefore are dishonest in their defenses of the market and Capitalism because they refuse to address this very real emergent property of their paradigm as it actually works in the real world.

The capitalist assumes, as an axiom, that competition between rivals and enemies is ultimately beneficial for all Mankind because this competition in the marketplace--the "free market"--for the attention, and therefore the custom, of others forces capitalist enterprises to innovate their way into superior efficiencies at every point of their operation or they will be beaten out of existence by those same rivals and enemies. As this is the way that one's means to survive and thrive are gotten, this puts the weight of existential threat behind one's efforts in the marketplace. Therefore, it is inevitable that one will seek out and hold on to any possible difference that grants an advantage to you while denying the same to your rivals and enemies. Failure to do so will destroy you.

When the stakes reach the level of an existential threat, Fight Or Flight thinking cuts into the OODA Loop, and rivals quickly transition into a hit list of enemies that must be annihilated as security threats. The obsession with seeking differential advantage, and denying it to others, quickly translates into "If I am the only option, then why not destroy my enemies?" and that translates into committing violence upon those same others. This is where the capitalist marriage to the State arises.

Gangsterism is the origin of all government, and capitalism--because of differential advantage--inevitably leads to gangsterism; if there is no State, or it is in the hands of enemies, the capitalist will create one the old fashioned way (as the Mexican cartels are now). Otherwise it will align itself with the State, trading support in exchange for State intervention in the capitalist's favor; the need for differential advantage compels the capitalist to use the violence of the State as a proxy for its own gangsterism, wielding the State's power to destroy enemies and create advantages for itself that a rival cannot handle without also attempting to buy favors from the State. The State and the Capitalist are compelled into this marriage. This is why "crony capitalism" is NOT an aberration; it is, instead, the fully mature state of the capitalist paradigm- Fascism and Inverted Totalitarianism are the Endgame Stage of Capitalism, making Anarchy impossible.

This is why no amount of economic reform will bring about the structural changes necessary to be compatible with Natural Law. The Anarcho-Capitalists and their friends are deluding themselves if they think that their way is NOT going to destroy them in the end, which is why I cannot stand with them and instead go with the Zeitgeist Movement and the Venus Project as more practical alternatives; the An-Caps are Patsies for Empire, and so are their Libertarian counterparts, making them allies only to a given point past which they become counter-productive to Man's freedom. No amount of crying "voluntarism" can fix this fatal flaw, and so I brush aside the black-and-yellow An-Cap banner in favor of something better and for now am just another Anarchist In Black. (Because I'm not that keen on the An-Coms or the An-Socs either.)

Thomas Sheridan: Velocity of Now (Ep.18) - The Purple Pill Problem

Thomas' weekly radio show, this week, is about his concerns over the usurpation of the Truth Movement and how it's playing out over the JFK Assassination anniversary. The first hour is embedded below, and you can find the second hour linked there.

Buzzsaw: LBJ and the Killing of JFK

You knew that I wasn't about to miss the other big anniversary this weekend. Here's Buzzsaw's episode with Roger Stone, author of The Man Who Killed Kennedy - The Case Against LBJ, which goes into the involvement of Lyndon B. Johnson with the assassination of President Kennedy. I'll save you the time and repeat the Description and Author Bio here:

Description: Lyndon Johnson and the conspiracy to kill John F. Kennedy are discussed with "The Man Who Killed Kennedy - The Case Against JBJ," author Roger Stone. The involvement of big oil, the CIA, sniper Malcolm Mac Wallace and how Gerald Ford was involved in the cover up are discussed in this interview that goes down the rabbit hole of government conspiracy. We debunk the agenda of the Warren Commission and Bill O'Reilly in this Buzzsaw interview hosted by Tyrell Ventura. (ED: This is erroneously attributed to Sean Stone.)

Guest Bio: Roger Stone is a legendary American Republican political consultant who has played a key role in the election of Republican presidents from Richard Nixon to Ronald Reagan to George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. Stone is the author of, "The Man Who Killed Kennedy - the Case Against LBJ," (Skyhorse).

Commentary: Christ, folks, this is why I remain a Buzzsaw subscriber. Roger Stone's the sort of investigator that mainstream media not only does not do anymore, but actively excoriates on behalf of the Thralls of Empire running this open-air prison plantation that is our world. The man's making an argument using researchable, verifiable sources- some of which are primary sources. In an honest media environment, this would produce a firestorm in the American culture overnight. This is worth your time, and the book is worth your reading attention; take notes, check his references, and decide if Stone has it right for yourself.

It Can't Rain All The Time: The Day of the Doctor and Why "Doctor Who" Is Such a Great Ally Against Empire

I do have my things that I enjoy, and by and large they have a theme running through them: the choice to embrace, whatever the cost, the hope for better tomorrows and the rejection of cynicism and defeat. Today, one that my father introduced to me when I was a child--Doctor Who--aired its 50th Anniversary Special: The Day of the Doctor. Sure, there's going to be people whining about this bit, picking nits over that bit and so on, but the thing that encourages me is that many fellow Whovians actually grok what this episode is about (not that it's subtle about it, but still many do miss the key elements until well after the fact) that very core ethos.

Culture matters. This is a struggle of ideas, and therefore of ideals, and this means that the core of the struggle against Empire is to kill the ideas that are at the core of this toxic meme. Doctor Who's core ethos, to quote the excellent Craig Ferguson cold open about the show, is about the triumph of intellect and romance (in the literary or artistic sense) over brute force (violence, as Mark Passio recently defined it) and cynicism. When at its best--and, having seen this special, it was at its best--this is what elevates the human mind and spirit above the clouds of Empire's pollution of thought and belief, granting it the clarity and perspective necessary to see reality for what it truly is: far more abundant, merciful and forgiving than we're led to believe that it is by Empire- all we need to do is cooperate with it and we can do and be truly great things.

We should never ignore our emotions, anymore than we should ignore our logical minds. Emotion fills in the spaces that logical, linear thought cannot fill itself; this is what Passio's talking about in his presentations, and when Doctor Who is on point it says the same thing in different terms. To win this struggle, we must embrace the power that emotion possesses and use it in its lawful purpose as a compliment to our logic; to bring Left and Right Brain function back into harmony and striving together towards common purpose is what a healthy culture must do to survive and thrive wherever it may exist. Doctor Who is one expression of that healthy culture's crying out for examples to inspire us, to make fiction into reality, to bring sanity where none exists, and remember hope where it is scrubbed so viciously out of a people.

So all you writers, musicians, photographers, painters, inkers, pencilers, singers, editors, sound engineers, dancers, choreographers- you too have a real and vital purpose, one that is necessary and not trivial- not expendable nor a luxury. You are the memory, the archive, the right brain function of your nation and your species- you exist to remember Care, to force forth feelings necessary and proper when and where needed, and through Care revive and bring purpose to Right Action (to use Passio's terms), and thus healthy function to individuals and communities alike.

Below I'm embedding Ferguson's cold open, for those who've not seen it, because it's awesome in its own right as well as a succinct summary of why this show is such a great ally in the cultural front against Empire. (Note: This occurred early in Matt Smith's run as The Doctor.)

The Zeitgeist Movement: London TownHall with Peter Joseph, November 15th 2013

Taken from TZM's official YouTube channel, the embedded video below is a nearly two-hour meeting consisting primarily of Question & Answer Time. This is a video taken by members about members talking about issues of relevance to the movement and its future operations, and it shows that--despite issues with Anarcho-Capitalists and the Patriot Community--the Movement understands the underpinnings of Civilization and Empire, and are striking at the root of the problem; while the ACs and the Patriots, for all intents and purposes, run interference the Zeitgeist folks are putting together the superior alternative that will be ready to go when Empire finally falls and Mankind is able to fully embrace Civilization as it really can be.

Red Ice Radio: Mike Mtcham on the Dangers of the Smart Grid and Artificial Biopshere

Our friends at Red Ice Radio have another two hour interview (the second is behind the paywall) worth your time, and this one is with a man by the name of Mike Mitcham on the topic of smart meters (and, by extension, the so-called "Internet of things", a.k.a. the Smart Grid). The Description, quoted here, is all that you need to know before starting the embedded audio:

Description: Mike Mitcham is a researcher and activist, with a background in IT systems consulting. In January 2012, he co-founded Stop Smart Meters! (UK) to raise awareness among the public about the dangers of Smart Meters and our rights to refuse them. To date, the campaign has served over 100,000 Legal Notices to entities and individuals pushing the Smart Metering agenda on behalf of nearly 1,400 people.

Following concerted efforts to appeal to Government policymakers and advisors, Mike and co-founder Dr. Elizabeth Evans were asked to give evidence at a televised Parliamentary Select Committee Hearing at the Palace of Westminster in April 2013. Mike was recently featured in Take Back Your Power, a documentary by Josh del Sol which examines the realities of the "Smart Grid." Our discussion centers on the major privacy and health concerns with the smart grid and the development of "the internet of things."

We also talk about the new IPv6 internet communications protocol and RFID development. Mike explains the security vulnerabilities of the smart grid and how the smart meter could allow government, corporations and hackers to monitor your behavior based on electricity usage. In the second hour, we discuss DARPA's development of mechanical bees as a means to solve colony collapse disorder. Later, we discuss the rise of infertility and the possible future scenario of state or corporate control of human reproduction. With the developments of such things as the artificial uterus and artificial sperm, mankind might be heading down a very dark road."

Again, only the first hour is publicly available (and thus uploaded by Red Ice Creations to their YouTube account). The second is behind their paywall, until such time as they decide to release it or a subscriber records and releases it themselves, so either look for someone to do that or buy yourself a subscription. That said, enjoy the interview's first hour.

Breaking The Set's Exclusive Interview with Peter Joseph of the Zeitgeist Movement

Last week, RT America's Breaking The Set interviewed Peter Joseph again, and the full interview (embedded below) goes about a half-hour in length. Peter's questioned about the core elements of the Zeitgeist Movement, and Abby Martin actually lets him answer. (In the interest of disclosure, Abby is friendly towards TZM, so one can--if one were a dick--interpret this professional and respect attitude as being in the tank for the Movement, but I don't see it that way; a truly biased presentation would be a total soft-ball lovefest that doesn't even attempt to go as far as this interview did.) I'm posting it here for your convenience.

Red Ice Radio: Jason Erb on Economic History and Alternative Currencies

Recently, Red Ice Radio (at Red Ice Creations) interviewed a man by the name of Jason Erb on the matter of economic history and alternative currencies. I'll let Red Ice's blurb speak for itself:

"Jason Erb joins us from Ontario, Canada where he started the website Exposing Faux Capitalism during the global financial collapse in 2008. We'll hear about a number of topics such as the history of the monetary system, credit default swaps, debt based currency and compound interest. Jason explains how the currency system is run by belief, confidence and control of information but nothing is there to back it up. In the second hour, he'll speak more about one world currency, The World Bank and the Bank of International Settlements. Then, we'll get into regional currencies and alternatives such as BitCoin, Mountain Hours and others. We'll also discuss how Europe went from being against usury or interest, to favoring it. Jason takes it all the way back to Grecian B.C. times. Later, we'll zoom forward and discuss the future of the Euro as many have speculated that it will collapse, causing countries to opt out of the centralized government clutches."

Below is the YouTube video covering the first hour of this two-hour interview. The second is behind the pay wall, alas, and thus I cannot embed it here for your convenience. If you want to hear it, then I recommend taking out a subscription at Red Ice Radio; your other alternative is to wait for someone to upload it, which may take a while. Enjoy, and I hope that you get something useful out of this interview.

John Lash & Thomas Sheridan on Handling Psychopaths

Below is a two-part conversation between John Lash and Thomas Sheridan about the matter of psychopathy and psychopaths, and they do differ on what to do about it. This is the crux of the dispute over handling this intra-species predator and its toxic effects upon all of us.

The Fatal Flaw of Anarcho-Capitalism: It's the Psychopaths, Stupid

I have an issue with the anarcho-capitalists (and, by extension, libertarianism), one that does not get acknowledged, above and beyond the matter of structural violence (and their denial of it): their conception of a free marketplace and a capitalist economy cannot possibly happen so long as psychopaths exist.

Stefan Molyneux, Adam Kokesh and the rest of that camp refuse to acknowledge that the psychopath problem is the sticking point that makes their paradigm a non-starter. They refuse to acknowledge that predators exist, that these predators--being cunning folk--know better than to fight fair; they can, and they will, shape the terrain to their advantage every single time. In plain terms, they fetter the market and seek to centralize power in their hands- they seek dominance and authority, which means that they are the shitsacks that create the State whenever it doesn't exist because that's what criminal masterminds do- first the gang boss, then the godfather, then the lord major, then king, then emperor and eventually god-emperor of all Mankind.

This is because A-Cs erroneously conceive of what Capitalism really is. They think it's a sport, where competition is restrained by good character via the ethics of sportsmanship; psychopaths, anarcho-communinists, anarcho-syndicalists, the Zeitgeist Movement and the Venus Project all acknowledge (in their own language) that this is bullshit- that Capitalism is really War By Economic Means, which is why the end-game of it always involves the creation of the State and the rise of either Fascism or Inverted Totalitarianism (i.e. Corporatism of one form or another) and finally a full-on manifestation of a Feudal system of masters and serfs/slaves. In other words, Capitalism--so long as psychopaths exist--cannot be ANYTHING other than Empire given a non-Mannish form; violation of the Non-Aggression and Self-Defense Principles (Sacred Feminine and Masculine, respectively) is inevitable, and thus the A-C paradigm is doomed to fail.

This is why I can't go along with Thomas Sheridan's "no contact ever again" solution; it just pushes the problem on to someone else (which he does admit) and does not actually solve the predation problem, yet I share his concern over the very real possibility of a witch hunt so I can't scream "EXTERMINATE!" like I'm a Dalek (IRONY!) either, which is where I'm stuck. I don't know what solution can be had that is both effective and moral, yet, other than to deal with each individually as they prey upon we common people (whereupon the Self-Defense Principle legitimates retribution via force). I'd rather find a solution that works at the highest possible level, yet meets those moral requirements, such as a gene treatment to kill the genetic root of psychopathy; once the born-that-way cohort (who cannot be fixed conventionally; it just makes them better predators) are gone, the secondary strain--the ones abused by the primaries into this dysfunction--can be repaired conventionally and thus their predatory culture wiped out of Creation forever.

The Fraud of War

Smedley Butler is the man--a career U.S. Marine Corp officer, retiring as a Major General--who coined the phrase "War is a racket." (His article over at Wikipedia is here.)

Today is Veteran's Day in the United States, Remembrance Day in most Commonwealth nation-states, and otherwise known as Armistice Day. Originating out of the first World War, this originated as a day to bring back to mind the massive slaughter and ruin of that war. It has, instead, become a pillar of the imperial cult--the secular religion--of the Anglo-American world: The Cult of the Soldier. This insidious, perfidious and corrosive cult exists as a way for Empire and its Thralls to corral the minds of the population into control and then to execute its will upon Civilization.

The Big Lie that the Cult of the Soldier promotes is this: You Fight For Freedom.

This is utter bullshit. The United States has not fought a single war for freedom since, arguable, the War of 1812 (which did not end as well as many Americans are taught that it did) and some argue that it hasn't been so since the end of the American Revolution. (Other nation-states are no better, and often even worse records.) The narratives told, in the U.S. and elsewhere, about the wars fought by those governments in the name of the nation are often a load of crap: half-truths, outright lies, and suppressed evidence meant to cover up the true purposes of these wars- and, therefore, the true objectives and beneficiaries.

Both Iraq wars are wars over oil and geo-politics, fought by we common people--utterly expendable human resources accounted as worth less than the natural resources at issue--for the benefit of Anglo-American oligarchs in government as well as their private corporate fellow travellers. Afghanistan is another similar move, this time for lithium and oil pipeline routes (and that sweet heroin revenue) while cock-blocking Iran as well as China and Russia. Vietnam began with the Gulf of Tonkin fraud, fought for geo-political positioning abroad, social engineering at home (the latter of which they got) and fueling the shadow government that is the merging of the military, intelligence agencies and their private corporate partners. Korea was far less about Communism than it was about geo-politics and power projection. The first world war began with an assassination that's now believed to also be a false flag operation, and the second has so much known and suspected criminality its launching that you could make a career out of writing about it (and some have). The 19th century wars are naked wars of conquest for land and resources, either against native nations or against rival colonizers.

And no, the War of 1812 is NOT an exception; the U.S. attempted to conquer Canada and failed spectacularly. The American Civil War was really about which economic paradigm would dominate these United States; slavery, while important, was not the primary point of dispute.) This pattern persists throughout world history; the only "war for freedom" is the war of a native people fighting off an invasion by would-be conquerers- all else is Empire enthralling a people and using it to consume for its own need or greed, usually greed.

But we today, and our predecessors before us, are constantly told that we have to go far from our homes to kill people we never met for reasons that have sweet fuck-all to do with us (and are actually lies told to us by our supposed "public servants") and everything instead with making some vampiric twat and his friends another fortune through the sacrifice of our blood and bone as well as that of others in apocalyptic fires born of battle and the attendant brutality. We are suckered into waging wars without need for the benefit of Empire and its Thralls, who win NO MATTER WHO LOSES, so long as there's someone left to dominate when it's over.

If there is any just war left to wage, it is by we--the global common people--against Empire and its Thralls (also a global entity, albeit one riven with factions). Turn the guns away from your neighbor, and instead aim it at the aristocrats on the hill giving the orders. If you're in, get out; if you're out, stay out. Refuse to deploy, refuse to fight, refuse to "just follow orders" (because that is still grounds for a lawful execution), and of all just plain refuse: say NO to war. Never again should we send our parents, our siblings or our children to fight for a lie.

Violence and Force Defined

Mark Passio emphasizes in his work that force and violence are not the same thing. They may look like it, but there is a key difference and that comes from the root of "violence" as a word; it is the same as the root for "violation", and it means the trespassing or infringement of others' inherent rights for unjust reasons or objectives. To do physical harm to another without a lawful reason is to violate the physical body of another, so that is violence; to do physical harm to another if they attempt to do so first upon you (again, without a lawful reason) is force. Summarized, this is the Self-Defense Principle: an individual has an innate, inherent Natural Law right to use whatever force is required to put down a threat to that individual's property (especially his body), dependents or any other violation of his other rights. Coupled with the Non-Aggression Principle (do not violate the rights of others, i.e. no coercion of any sort to get what you want), these are the Sacred Masculine and Feminine (respectively) and make up the twin pillars of a lawful--and therefore healthy--individual as well as any collection thereof, something that scales up infinitely. This is why man-made rules are total wastes of time.

If read Passio correctly, this is an accurate depiction of that position. Therefore, a change in my use of language is in order, something I will follow through on in future posts.

The Wheel Needs No Reinvention: A Defense of Curation

I'm rather annoyed with the idea that a valid blogger is one that treats the medium as if it were an online newspaper column. Nonsense. I greatly value the power of the Internet to link together disparate elements as the user sees fit, and rather than waste my time writing posts about topics that others already addressed to my satisfaction I would be better served--and, therefore you also--linking to that post and giving you (if I see it necessary) some contextual information regarding what I'm linking to or why I'm doing so. While this does mean that most of my posts are more about curation than writing original content, curation itself is a valuable thing; it allows a discerning mind, following certain guidelines, to bridge speakers to audiences in ways that neither party previously considered.

It is my hope that the individuals I bring to your attention sufficiently engage your interest that you, as I did previously, seek out their online sites and follow them on Twitter/subscribe to their YouTube (Vimeo, etc.) channels/like their Facebook pages/bookmark their websites and so on so that you need not rely on me consistently posting links to their stuff. I'm interested in digging through the Internet and presenting what I find to others, amongst other things, and it takes time to properly process what I find; posting links, in addition to cutting out middlemen, allows me to share what I find while I process what I learn.

So expect me to post more podcasts, interviews, reviews, etc. between my original works. Furthermore, if you have something that you want me to check out link to in a comment. The Internet works best when done in this fashion- and we need no authority to tell us what to do or how to do it. Connecting to one another directly, without institutions or other rent-seekers interfering, is part of what will make Empire fall.

Red Ice Radio: Mark Passio on the Holistic Brain & "New" Age Deception

Red Ice Radio recently had Mark Passio on as a guest. Below is the embedded audio (with visual accompaniment) of the first hour of this two-hour interview (with the other hour behind a paywall; sorry folks). I'll let the Description tell you what's up in this interview:

"Mark Passio is an independent researcher, public speaker, radio talk show host, conference organizer and freedom activist from Philadelphia, PA. Mark has undertaken the task of assembling vast amounts of research in the areas of metaphysics, occultism, spirituality, symbology and consciousness studies. In the first hour, Mark discusses an integral approach to truth gathering that utilizes both hemispheres of the brain. He'll explain how a holistic full brain aggregates information. We'll talk what he calls the "5 boxes for consciousness," including the new age movement, rigid scientism, religion and the monetary system that require a belief outside yourself. We discuss aspects of left/right brain imbalance and how to keep in the center hemisphere of your brain, which is the best place to learn and take action. In the member's hour, we discuss the biggest deceptions in the new age movement such as: avoiding the negative, never getting angry, the idea that we're all one and in this together, solipsism, acceptance of everything, the laws of attraction, false notions of forgiveness, chaos as a fearful thing, enlightenment, truth doesn't need to be defended and the savior is coming. Mark details the deceptions weaved into each one of these aspects."

Mark's website is What On Earth Is Happening?.
Red Ice Radio is part of Red Ice Creations.

If you like what you hear here, throw one or both of them some currency; they are able to do what they do through the support of the people at large.

Buzzsaw: JFK and the Untold History of Oliver Stone

Until we return to the first duty of all Mankind--to seek out the truth, wherever and however it is--Empire and its Thralls will endure. Oliver Stone did this in part to fulfill this obligation. The whole truth? No, but he knows that and acknowledges it. The interview is worthy of your time.

Student Debt Bubble, Oil Change, Third Plenum - Geneva Business Insider

Quoting the description: "David L. Smith of the Geneva Business Insider blog joins us once again for our monthly conversation on economics, finance and politics. This month we start by talking about Smith's new interview series, featuring his first guest, John Hancock, discussing the education industrial complex. We also discuss China's changing role in global geopolitics as it becomes the world's largest oil importer and prepares for an important party meeting that may plot the course of the Chinese economy for the coming decade."

Stefan Molyneux: The Truth About Violence - The Facts Will Shock You...

While I have my differences with Stefan Molyneux, he's usually good for videos like this one. He cites his sources, sticks to the facts, and constructs a valid argument accordingly. In other words, he's making a claim of knowledge based upon externally-located, and therefore independently-verifiable, sources; this means that YOU can double-check his sources to see if his claims are valid. I encourage you, if you have any doubt, to do just that; send the man an email and request his sources.

A Very Brief Reminder of Your Duty to Discern

This very short video from our friends at Storm Clouds Gathering remind us that, contrary to what some say, "I was just following orders." and similar excuses are never a defense against immoral and unlawful acts.

Corporate Personhood: How Did We Get Here? (Excerpt from "Legalize Democracy")

Much like that video going around showing just how grossly understated the wealth concentration--both in the U.S. and worldwide--actually, this video is also one that shows just how long the process behind the empowerment of corporations actually is and does so with citation after citation. Best part? It is short; you can watch this on your coffee break and still make that run for a drink and a snack. (Note: This is using far more mainstream media than I usually employ, and I'm not endorsing Move To Amend; this is something I'm posting because there is a decided lack of historical comprehension and this is one video that corrects it.)

Mark Passio: The Matrix Trilogy Decoded

Mark Passio took the time to perform a critical analysis of the Matrix trilogy some time ago. At the 2013 Free Your Mind Conference, he took two hours to present his findings. This presentation again works with the Sacred Masculine, the Sacred Feminine, what an imbalance either way looks like, and what an awesome force manifests when the two are in accord and work together as they are meant to do. I caution you that this interpretation relies heaving on a familiarity with the Western esoteric traditions because the symbolism interpretations are made through that cultural filter. Nonetheless, this is a fun and useful expenditure of your time and I recommend that you get ready to take some notes and give this your full attention; you will be better for it.

Now, why am I giving this man my attention? It is because he presents a paradigm that squares with the real world, can be implemented by anyone with two brain cells to rub together, doesn't fuck with your head via blah-blah-blah bullshit and produces real, measurable results. Comprehending what he says transforms the individual into a martial pacifist, attacks essentialist frauds that sexism and racism rest upon, and direct attacks the fraud that is "authority" while emphasizing the need for cooperation to achieve what isolated individuals cannot do on their own. (A task that requires communication on a level that compels reason, honesty and a command of one's emotions--maturity--that the present dominant paradigm actively inhibits.) From the realm of the spiritual to the realm of the everyday, what Passio presents is something that actually fucking works and requires no external agency.

There, sorted. Give him your attention; he talks sense, and is one of the men making Empire fall.

Predictive Programming: The Tool of a Desperate Dominator

Being out here in the frontier means that you will encounter phenomena that defies the dismissive explanations of the mainstream. One of them is the one known as "predictive programming", and--summarized--it is the idea that certain individuals or groups within the media world (fiction and non-fiction alike, across all media) know what's really going on and communicate possible future events allegorically or literally by way of symbolism, simile and metaphor in their media products, thereby shaping public perception so that when an event occurs their reactions will already be known as they will act on the prior programming. (Hint: Any language by observers--especially by news media--like "it seemed like a movie" is a flag that the event is programmed, and thus staged.)

Should you dare to do so, a search in Google for that term will bring up a lot of blather on conspiracy theory fora as well as dismissive articles like the one at Wikipedia. Go into videos, however, and all of a sudden you get a lot of people making videos about how Person A used Symbol B in this movie to signify that Gozer the Gozarian is actually Cthulhu and when the Stars Are Right you will be eaten last- or some such thing or another. (These sorts of videos, on the other hand, are better taken as good stuff to review when looking for a hook on your own fiction or game design projects; Crazytown is great for that.) As is usually the case, most of the claims of this sort of thing are lacking in substantive evidence or other support that would work in that manner; this does not mean that there isn't something going on.

The reason that I don't dismiss predictive programming altogether comes from the history of Public Relations. It is well known that the best way to predict the future is to create it, just as the best way to handle the opposition is to control it yourself, so it is no surprise to find that before a major event occurs there is often signs of mass psychological preparation prior to the fact. This is intended to shape the public's conception of the event, narrowing the range of discourse for the purpose of channeling it towards a desired conclusion- one that conforms to the actual goal intended. This is part of the process of "manufacturing consent" that Noam Chomsky and Bernard Herman described in their book of the same name, and it encompasses what those two described.

Now, while there are plenty of people who get into the aliens and the demons and all of that, we need none of this to comprehend why predictive programming is a plausible concept. We know that psychology is a thing. We know that applied psychology, in the form of propaganda, is also a thing and that both public and private actors employ propaganda to increase support for their actions and decrease support for unwanted alternatives. We have the example of the Gulf of Tonkin incident as a known historical example of in-the-moment propaganda that worked. All that predictive programming contends is that this exact same applied psychology is applied on a longer time-scale, and targets the sub-conscious mind far more often through using mental processes that bypass conscious thought and therefore critical analysis (i.e. defeats mental self-defense habits) through the exploitation of what happens when the mind of an individual shifts modes during the viewing of a film or television program.

The symbolism matter is very simple to comprehend. Symbols are short-hand within a culture, which is why culture matters (and why some symbols produce different reactions in various places). A symbol can instantaneously communicate a very dense and complex idea, assuming that both sender and recipient share a common comprehension of that symbol's meaning. That communication can happen without being consciously aware of it, which is why the makers of videos talking about predictive programming spend so much time emphasizing symbols that the film and TV makers chose not to direct a viewer's conscious attention to but instead let it slide by in the background or hide in plain sight by incorporating into a costume or backdrop. Don't think so? Then why is Darth Vader presented as a Black Knight with a skull-shaped helm wielding a blood-red sword? Because Western culture associates all of those symbols--individually and collectively--with death, brutality, evil and tyranny; you know as soon as he enters the scene in the original Star Wars film--before he says a word, before you even know his name (another symbol, by the way)--what he is about. That symbolism does in less than a second what otherwise would take up to a minute of precious screentime to establish.

The flipside, as mentioned above, is that the power is dependent upon the culture. Miscommunication can and does occur when the parties interpret the same symbol differently, which is why the more credible claims rely less on symbols that are specific to a culture or sub-culture and instead rely on symbols that are dominant world-wide if not universal or on claims that the intended audience is smaller than what the media product actually reaches. (e.g. all of the claims of 9/11 programming also claim that the intended audience is strictly American, and not the much larger audience that the media products cited actually reached).

Okay, we have plausible explanations regarding why it's possible to exist and how symbolism plays into it. The really bothersome part of predictive programming is the "why" aspect. The common claims are that--and, for purely illustrative purposes, I will refer to "they" as the Illuminati; don't take this as me claiming that this is the party responsible, because I'm not--the Illuminati do have some ethics that constrain their behavior and thus their operations. With respect to predictive programming, the ethic is that of obtaining consent from the party they seek to do unto; the idea is that we must be told what they intend to do before they do it, and if we do not state our objections then they must abstain until either they give up or they get consent- but how they tell us is up to them, and using predictive programming to get it amounts to a mass gaslighting of the population into going along with their scheme. The Illuminati, therefore, technically obtains consent and therefore skirts by Natural Law (so it's claimed) since we subconsciously receive their message and thereafter remain silent; silence is consent, so they proceed.

Like I said, this is bothersome. It's a claim that is hard to verify because it's a claim that relies itself on esoteric knowledge of legal theory as well as how symbolism works and (contrary to the claim) expects us to accept a fraudulent claim that deliberately manipulating what information another receives and must act upon before they decide whether or not to consent to something is not itself a violation of that individual's sovereignty. (Why is is fraudulent? Because the party that materially benefits from the consent is ensuring that the consenting party cannot possibly deny it by denying the fullest possible extension of information; it is as if this were a trial, and one party deliberately manipulated the discovery process to get the desired judgement by crippling the opposing party's ability to act on the full extent of knowledge about the facts of the case- you can, and lawyers do, go to prison for that.) "If we knew that beforehand, we would never have gone along with it." is the test to apply; why do you think that information manipulation is properly classifed as "warfare"? Because that is what it truly is; an act of war upon a targeted enemy.

There is a more sensible way to see it. Most of the governments, and corporations, comprehend that if they don't have some popular support that they'll lose what power and influence that they have and become vulnerable to being depose or destroyed. Those in power want to stay there, and they are on record as conspiring to manipulate public opinion in grotesque and inhuman ways to make this happen. (Operation: Northwoods almost happened, and that was just to fake a Cuban threat so that the U.S. could undo Castro's revolution; as it is, elements of that plan have been recycled into the schemes that created the American police state of permanent warfare against terrorists that are largely self-created.) Since--as noted above--the best way to handle opposition as well as an unpredictable future is to control the former and create the latter, using the former to achieve the latter is a short hop to make, and that is the most reasonable way to see what predictive programming is (said means to said end), how it's done and why it's done. In short, predictive programming is used to create the desired public opinion about events that are yet to occur in the same way that gerrymandering creates the voters for a politician's success years before that election happens; it's a perversion of a known process for corrupt ends, and once you know that it exists it ceases to work upon you. This is why it is getting harder and harder for authoritarian schemes to get through, and thus more and more open corruption is employed instead; a lot of us are indeed seeing through this bullshit and calling them on it.

Let's bring this home now.

Predictive Programming...
  • ...totally is a real thing that happens.
  • ...an example of propaganda applied in a long-form format.
  • ...a psychological process, using known techniques from advertising, marketing and public relations.
  • ...intended to shape mass perception of an event well before the fact.
  • ...intended to channel popular opinion of that event towards an end decided upon well before the fact.
  • ...relies on the use of symbolism--including language--to efficiently communicate on a sub-conscious level what the sender wants the recipient to think about the event, with language such as "...it seemed like a movie" to trigger that programming.
  • ...has bothersome ethics involved, reflecting the corrupt culture of an oligarchy afraid of losing its place in the world and thus should be seen as the method of a desperate dominator group shoring up their base.
  • ...is, like all illusions, fragile and shatters once you apply the power of a properly-developed consciousness to it; once you see it, you cannot unsee it and future applications fail against you.
  • ...can be used against them in turn, and some in the media world have done just that- and have for many years. The effects are now manifesting.

The School Sucks Podcast: Doing a Series on the Trivium

The folks at the School Sucks Podcast are doing a series on the Trivium. This week they put up an episode on Grammar and Logic, following both the Introduction and part one of Grammar and an interlude about religion and Sophistry. Plenty of citations, links and embedded documents are on the podcast episode pages, putting the Corbett Report to shame. Follow the links, turn off the football and pay attention to this instead.

Two embedded documents in particular got my attention, and that's the pair I'm embedding below:

Trivium and Quadrivium Cliff Notes by Gene Odening

Trivium Method of Critical Thinking and Creative Problem Solving

Take the time to read these either before or after listening to the series. (The last part, covering Rhetoric, is not up yet; when it is, I will edit this post to reflect the complete series.)

The Corbett Report: Rockefeller Medicine

The Corbett Report's episode, live as of November 1st, is embedded below. Here is the summary: "As Americans fret about the Obamacare website and wonder how the country became enslaved to the highest healthcare costs in the world, we turn back the pages to look at how the modern medical paradigm came together in the early 20th century, courtesy of the Rockefeller Foundation and their cronies. Join us this week as we explore the real history of modern healthcare and the real motivations behind the family that brought it to you."

As with the real history of education in the United States, the history of American medicine is willfully obscured from the people. If we knew what this Canadian expatriate found out, then this present performance of political theater would be obvious as the distraction that it is- and we could instead go after the real problems.
